JERRY VASILATOS, DIRECTOR OF "SOLSTICE ",
RECEIVES SILVER AND BRONZE AWARDS FROM
CHARLESTON AND HOUSTON INTERNATIONAL
FILM FESTIVALS


(CHICAGO, ILLINOIS...) Director Jerry Vasilatos's first-time effort "SOLSTICE" has received the bronze award in the 1995 Houston International Film Festival. "SOLSTICE", which was produced as a 48-minute independent, has also been honored with the silver award in the 1994 Charleston International Film Festival, and was sold to Lifetime Television and broadcast nationally during the 1994 holiday season. Vasilatos is presently involved in the development of Sara Coover Caldwell's script "SHELTER ME", a dramatic thriller about a murder that takes place in a woman's shelter where an abused woman went for protection. "SHELTER ME" is currently being pitched to several production companies in Los Angeles by Caldwell's literary agent Rita Lewis of "For Writer's Only".
